Andrew Bulls Named America East Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

9/2/2008

Cambridge, Mass.--Freshman midfielder Andrew Bulls (Millersville, Md./McDonogh) has been named America East Conference Rookie of the Week for games ending Aug. 31, 2008.

In his first collegiate game, the younger brother of team captain Dan Bulls posted four points in a 4-2 win over Saint Mary’s (Ca.). He set up both first half goals, initiating scoring plays to John Paul Waraksa and Levi Houapeu to give the Retrievers a 2-0 lead. After the Gaels cut the deficit to 3-2, he sealed the win with a goal with 47 seconds remaining.

Bulls was named to College Soccer News’ list of “100 Freshmen to Keep an Eye On.”
