Andrew Bulls Signs National Letter-of-Intent With UMBC Men's Soccer

UMBC Head Men’s Soccer Coach Pete Caringi is pleased to announce the signing of Andrew Bulls (Millersville, Md.) to a national letter-of-intent for the 2008-09 academic year. Bulls is a midfielder/fullback who will graduate from The McDonough (Md.) School this spring. He was a 2007 NSCAA adidas high school All American, scoring 18 goals and adding 24 assists for the MIAA champions. Bulls also earned First Team All-State and All-South honors this past fall and was a two-time Baltimore Sun First Team All-Metro selection. Andrew’s brother, Dan, will be a senior midfielder/fullback for the Retrievers next season. The younger Bulls is also a member of the 2006 national club champion Baltimore Bays. In addition, fullback Jason McCarron (Odenton, Md.) has also committed to attending UMBC. The Arundel High School standout earned All-State, All-Metro, and All-County honors. He is the brother of UMBC rising sophomore Brendan McCarron. Jason was a member of the 2007 club state champion SAC United Premier squad.
