UMBC Men's Soccer Edged by Boston University, 2-1

UMBC fell to 8-5-3 overall and 3-2-1 in the America East Conference, as the Terriers edged a point ahead of the Retrievers in the league standings at 9-5-2, 3-1-2.
Coming out of the break up 1-0, Terrier forward Neil Hlavaty posted the game-winning goal nine minutes in to the final period when he scored just under the center of the crossbar on a direct kick. It was Gnatiko’s third goal of the season and second in two games this week. The assist was also Moffa’s team-leading fifth of the season.
