B.J. Quigley Named America East Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Cambridge, Md.—UMBC freshman forward B.J. Quigley (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) was named America East Conference Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week, it was announced today by the conference.

After being re-inserted into the starting lineup, Quigley scored a goal in each of UMBC’s shutout victories last week. He tallied an insurance marker in last Tuesday’s 3-0 win at Mount St. Mary’s. Then, he scored UMBC’s final goal in the 89^th minute in the 4-0 conference-opening victory over Stony Brook on Saturday.

He is second on the team with three goals and has scored in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
