Men's Soccer Completes 2007 Recruiting Class

The UMBC men’s soccer program completed its recruiting class for the fall of 2007 by signing four additional student-athletes. The newest Retrievers are junior Shondell Busby (
The quartet joins six student-athletes that committed in the early period. Striker B.J. Quigley, the
Busby is a speedy, skilled midfielder who competed at Francis Marion University (S.C.) in 2004 and 2005. He led the team in scoring in 2004 and earned Peach Belt All Tournament Team honors in 2005.
Houapeu is a forward who earned first team All-Metro honors from The Washington Post in his senior season. He scored 18 goals and added eight assists for Watkins Mill and was also named as a first team All-State performer. The speedy native of the
McCarron was also selected to The Washington Post’s All-Metro (first) team, and the
Williams is a 6’3”, 200-lb. central defender who competed at Calvert Hall in
New Retrievers in 2007
