Background: Earned varsity letters as a freshman and a sophomore for Westwood and helped the squad to district and area titles… Started as a fullback and was an all-district honoree in his sophomore campaign… Starts for and captains the Lonestar Academy at the USSF level… His squad won the Disney Showcase in 2011… Earned Academic Excellence award in all four years of high school… Lists favorite professional team as Bayern Munich… Chose UMBC over several other Division I programs “because I felt comfortable on my visit, it was a good program for my major and it has an established soccer program”… Considering a major in environmental engineering… Enjoys drawing and snowboarding… Has two older sisters, Meagan and Melissa… His father, Jeff, played football at Rice University… Son of Pam and Jeff Schwarz… Born Oct. 13, 1993.
