2011: Competed in two games early in the campaign, but suffered a lower body injury and did not dress for the final 14 contests… Saw limited minutes in the backfield vs. FDU and Navy… Received a medical hardship waiver and will have four years of eligibility heading into the 2012 season.

Background: The youngest of three McCarron brothers to compete at UMBC… Put together a stellar career at Arundel, capped by a First Team All-State honor as a senior… Also earned All-Metro honors from The Washington Post, and First Team All-County accolades from the Capital Gazette  and the county coaches… Led the Wildcats to the county championship in the fall of 2010… A three-time All-County selection and a two-time All-State and All-Metro honoree… Won a national title as part of the U-15 Baltimore Casa Mia Bays in 2008… Considering a major in psychology and has a career interest in the law… Lists favorite professional side as Arsenal… In additional to older brothers, Brendon and Jason (former Retrievers), he has two younger brothers, Logan, who is 18, and Austin, who is 15… Son of Cristen and Mike McCarron… Born April 7, 1993.
