2010: Finished second in the conference in goals against average (0.87), save percentage (.845) and saves per game (4.73)... His 84.5 save percentage was tenth-best in the nation… Led the league in save percentage (.886) and saves per game (5.57) during conference games… Got off to an inauspicious debut, allowing three goals in the final 45 minutes in the opening 5-3 win over VMI on Sept. 2… His next relief effort was far superior, as he blanked Mount St. Mary’s in the second half as UMBC rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit and triumphed, 3-2 on Sept. 18… Earned his first start for the Retrievers on Oct. 2 vs. Binghamton and made a team season-high nine saves in a 1-1 double overtime draw… Started and played every minute of the final 13 games of the season… Posted his first UMBC shutout on Oct. 9, as the Retrievers played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer at UNH… Also blanked Hartford on Oct. 23 and Stony Brook on Oct. 31… Contributed a primary assist on Levi Hoaupeu’s first goal of the game in a 3-1 win over Vermont on Oct. 27… For the second time, he held UNH off the board in 110 minutes, as the teams battled to a scoreless tie in the America East title game on Nov. 13… Made a diving save on the Wildcats’ second penalty kick effort and UMBC prevailed, 5-4, to advance to the NCAA Championships… Allowed only one goal in 200 minutes in the tournament, including a six-save effort in the 0-0 double-overtime draw at No. 9 William & Mary… Has now started six NCAA Tournament games…Finished the campaign with a record of 9-1-4.   

2009: Transferred to UMBC, but suffered a shoulder injury and did compete during the fall campaign.

2008: Started the first five games of the season for UVA… Recorded wins over George Mason, and Hofstra… Made a season-high six saves vs. the Patriots.

2007:  Matriculated at the University of Virginia and made his first collegiate start in the sixth game of the season vs. Campbell on Sept. 19, a 2-1 Cavalier victory… Played in seven games and started six… Started all four of Virginia’s postseason games… Posted a 4-2-0 record and a 1.03 goals-against average… Recorded an assist in the Cavs’ 4-1 ACC quarterfinal win at N.C. State.

Background: Majoring in sociology… One of the Top 100 college prospects in the nation after a brilliant prep and early club career… Earned First Team All-Conference and All-State honors as a sophomore at Concord, averaging 15.7 saves per game… Captained his club team, Hockessin Blizzard and led that squad to its third consecutive regional tournament appearance… Captained and led Delaware ODP team to semifinals, where they lost to eventual champion Maryland… As a junior, he captained Steve Nichols’ Casa Mia Bays and led them to a regional and national title… Voted to the All-Tournament Team and earned the Golden Glove Award… As a senior in 2006-07, earned a slot in the national pool and competed for a spot on the national team… Heavily recruited by several ACC schools before deciding on Virginia… Helped his U-18 become the first U.S. Soccer Academy National Champions, and played in the nationally-televised title game…Earned All-Tournament team honors… Again led Casa Mia Bays to the nationals where they captured McGuire Cup… Has won four regional titles and three national titles during his tenure…Helped the Bays become the No. 1 club in the United States, as selected by Soccer America…An honor student throughout high school… Spent many holiday seasons at shelters, cooking for the homeless...
