Background: A Baltimore Sun Second-Team All-Metro selection as a fullback for Perry Hall… Also earned All-Division, All-County and Second-Team All-State honors… Competes as a goalkeeper for Baltimore Bays’ club team and will be a candidate at that position for the Retrievers… Part of a powerful Gators’ squad which reached the state championship in both 2007 and 2008… Netted the first penalty kick in the state semifinals as Perry Hall defeated Magruder, 3-1, to move to the state finals vs. Bowie… Also lettered in baseball… father, Ian, played professional soccer in England … Enjoys mahi mahi and the music of Jack Johnson… Son of Ginger and Ian Saunders… Phillip Andrew Saunders was born on Sept. 28, 1991.
