2007: Competed in seven games, including three conference games for the Retrievers.... Earned meaningful minutes on defense, as UMBC was beset with injuries during the season. 


BACKGROUND: Majoring in financial economics... A 2006 Pennsylvania All-State player… Named to Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division, Patriot News Big 11 and Sentinel News first teams in both 2005 and 2006… Earned four varsity letters, starting his career as the lone freshman on the varsity and ending it as a team captain… Lists his greatest thrill as being named to the Region I ODP team and his squad visited California in 2003 and Biella, Italy, in 2004… A central fullback who helped that ODP team to a 1-1 draw with Inter Milan’s youth pro team… Considered schools such as Dayton, James Madison and UNC-Wilmington, but selected UMBC “because I liked the coaches and the location and reputation of the school”… A water sports enthusiast who enjoys water skiing, wake boarding and fishing… Has younger siblings, Ashley, age 17 and Mitchell, age 6… Son of Jodi and Todd Taylor… Jeremy Todd Taylor was born on June 19, 1989.
