Background: A junior college standout in two seasons at Frederick (Md.) Community College… earned Region XX and Maryland Junior College First Team honors in both ’05 and ’06… captained the team in both years… ranked 23rd in the nation in scoring last season and was also an academic All American… also lettered in track and field at Linganore and ran on the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relays teams… a Phi Theta Kappa member… intends to major in history and would like to become a teacher… enjoys taking part in Civil War re-enactments and lists favorite movie as Forrest Gump… has a younger sister, Shannon… son of Aggie and Paul Sparks… born July 11, 1987.
