Background: Earned First Team All State honors from the Maryland Association of Coaches of Soccer and was the 2006 Baltimore City Player of the Year… he lead the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference in scoring for a second straight year, scoring 27 goals last fall, concluding with the game-winner in the Friars' 1-0 win over McDonogh for the league championship… the goal gave Quigley eight game-winning goals in the team's final 11 games, as the senior finished his career with 59 goals and 17 assists…he was a three-year starter, team captain and MIAA All-Star… scored in 16 of the team's 21 wins and had seven multi-goal games… the Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year in ’06… served as president of the history and environmental science clubs and a member of the Franciscan Youth Ministry, which raises funds for needy organizations… is considering a major in history and would like to become a teacher… enjoys seafood and lists his favorite professional team as Manchester United… son of Karen and Bill Quigley… William Quigley was born on May 26, 1989.
