Background: The 2006 Anne Arundel (Md.) County Player-of-the-Year… also earned First Team All-Metro (The Baltimore Sun and The Washington Post) All-State, All-South and All-County honors after his 14-goal, five-assist campaign…also earned All-County honors in 2005 after scoring 10 goals and 25 points for the Wildcats… led Arundel to the country championship in both his junior and senior seasons… scored three goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as Arundel won 3-2 in ’06 over Broadneck, the defending regional champions… selected UMBC “because of the great soccer program, location and academic programs”… enjoys the music of Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley and the classic novel Farenheit 451… has four younger brothers… son of Cristen and Mike McCarron… born March 19, 1989.
