2006-Moved into a prominent role, starting 14 of 17 games on the season... was fifth on the team with 15 shots attempted... scored his first career goal, tying the game in the 51st minute vs. nationallly-ranked Virginia Tech.
2005- Appeared to be more effective and gave UMBC an offensive spark when coming off the bench ...contributed three assists, all of which occured at key times in UMBC good “results”...his first helper set up Kevin Mezzadra’s game-tying goal in the 2-2 draw with Davidson...he earned an assist on the insurance goal in a 3-0 win over Albany, then initiated the game-winning play on Kevin Gnatiko’s overtime strike in a 1-0 Homecoming triumph over Maine...did not receive credit for an assist, but his “baseline” drive and cross ended in David Feazell’s GWG in the overtime win at Binghamton.
BACKGROUND: Has played soccer on four continents (North America, South America, Europe, Africa)... earned NSCAA Second Team All State honors as a sophomore and a junior at Old Mill, before missing much of his senior campaign with an ankle injury…was also a First Team Anne Arundel County selection in 2002 and 2003…a member of the 2004 state finalist Patriot squad…a member of the Bethesda Internationals, which won five straight state titles (1999-2003) and a national championship in 2001…was a teammate of DC United's Freddy Adu…older brother, Aaron, played soccer at McDaniel College, while younger brother, Andrew, competes for local power McDonogh…lists favorite food as Korean food and favorite professional team as AFC Ajax…considered a professional soccer career prior to coming to UMBC "to get a degree and play at a high level"... majoring in American Studies... son of Patricia and Stanley Bulls…born Aug. 30, 1986.
