Background: A four-year varsity starter at powerful Archbishop Curley HS, which has produced numerous Retriever standouts in soccer…a teammate of UMBC freshman netminder Steve King…started for the Friars for four years and capped his career by earning All MIAA, All City/County and All Metro honors (The Baltimore Sun) in his senior campaign…also lettered in basketball at Curley…is undecided about a major…the oldest of five siblings…has younger brothers, Kris and Mike, and younger sisters, Ashley and Jordan…son of Becki and Dan Ward…born December 7, 1986.
