One half of the first set of twins to ever compete on the soccer field for UMBC…a very technically sound player who will challenge the incumbents for time in the midfield.
Background: Competed with a regional squad which traveled to Costa Rica in 2004…has also played in Brazil…part of a team which advanced from the second division to the First, won the First Division, captured a state title and earned a berth in the regional finals in the same season…performed well in a 2005 “friendly” match with FC Dallas…has three older siblings, Lucas, 26, Joaquin, 21, and Ximena, 19, a twin brother in Manuel, and a younger brother, Felipe, 16…enjoys rock climbing…son of Solange and Federico Mariel…born May 19, 1987.
