Baltimore, Md.—UMBC men's soccer closes out their four-game home stand against Air Force in the final game of the UMBC/Navy Classic on Sunday night. The Retrievers are coming off a convincing 3-0 win against College of Charleston on a rainy Friday night. Tre Pulliam (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley), Kyle Saunderson (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) and James Gielen (Edgewater, Md./DeMatha) each scored in the win.

Scouting the Retrievers:
-UMBC enters the final game of their four-game season opening home stand at 3-0 after a 3-0 win against College of Charleston on Friday. Pulliam, Saunderson and Gielen each netted a goal in the win, as the Retrievers had to endure a two-and-a-half hour lightning/rain delay. Cesare Marconi (Loano, Italy) and Jackson Becher (Hummelstown, Pa.) each had an assist to continue their streak of three straight games with a point.
-Marconi leads the offense with six points on two goals and two assists. He has recorded a point in every game this year. Becher is just behind his with four points on a goal and two assists. Gielen, Pulliam and Saunderson have also scored this year.
-Ciaran O'Loughlin (Birkenhead, England) has played every minute in goal for the Retrievers this year, recording two shutouts, surrendering just two goals on the year. He has 0.67 goals against average with seven saves.
Scouting the Falcons:
-Air Force continues their Maryland road swing after defeating Navy 2-0 on Friday night. Tucker Bone and Austin Dewing provided the goals late in the second half, just minutes apart.
-Dewing leads the Falcons with two goals and four points. Bone and Aaron Uribe have also scored for Air Force this year with Danny Han and Luis Martinez providing assists.
-Andrea Seazzu has played every minute in net for the Falcons, posting two shutouts in 2018. He has only given up two goals for a 0.62 goals against average with eight saves.
-The Retrievers and Falcons will be meeting for the second time in the all-time series, with UMBC winning the only other matchup, 2-1 back in 2007.
-The Retrievers will hit the road for the first time in 2018 when they travel to Navy on Saturday, Sept. 8. Kickoff with the Midshipmen is set for 11 a.m.
