Accolades: Earned a spot on the 2011-12 and 2012-13 America East Conference Commissioners’ Winter/Spring Honor Roll… Selected by coaches as a team captain early in the spring campaign... Named America East Conference Rookie of the Week on Feb. 21, 2011 after a two-goal, one-assist effort in his debut at Presbyterian... 2014: Finished tied for second in the nation in goal-scoring…Led the team and placed second in the conference with 48 goals (3.20 pg), trailing only Tewaaraton co-recipient Miles Thompson … The 48 goals broke Jason Smith’s mark of 47, which stood since 1992… Also paced the Retrievers and was third in the conference with 57 points … Both figures were career highs… The 57 points are the 14th-most in school history and the most since Drew Westervelt recorded 71 in 2007… Concluded his career with 96 goals, which is tied for 12th place on UMBC's all-time list. .. Became the 31st Retriever to reach the 100-point plateau and amassed a total of 113 points - tied for 22nd on the school's list…Became only the fifth player in UMBC lacrosse history to score 40 or more goals in a season and also became the 31 player in school history to reach the 100-point plateau…Tied for second in the America East conference with 15 goals in conference games… …Recorded a team season-high for points in a game when he had eight (6-2-8) at Vermont on April 26…Scored a season- high six goals against Mount St. Mary’s on March 22…Tallied at least one goal in the last twelve regular season matches, including scoring four goals (4-3-7) in the America East semi-final triumph over Binghamton…In those twelve games, , he recorded multiple-goal games eleven times…Posted eight hat tricks in 2014, with two of those occurring in conference play.
2013: Led UMBC and finished tied for fifth in conference games with 15 goals (3.00 gpg)… Tied for eighth in points per game with 3.40 per outing in five AE contests… Did not compete in the opener with a leg injury, but posted a hat trick in the home opener a week later vs. Rutgers… Hit the score sheet in 13 of 14 games played and score multiple goals on nine occasions… Posted multiple points in the final nine games of the campaign… Opened league play with back-to-back four-point efforts at Hartford (3-1-4) and Vermont (4-0-4)… Recorded a career-best five-point effort (4-1-5) at Albany on April 19… Recorded at least one ground ball in 13 of 14 games, including a season-best three vs. the Great Danes… Put 60 of 80 shots (75.0%, tied for team lead) on goal… Has scored 27 goals in ten games vs. America East competition over the past two seasons.
2012: Set a UMBC single-season record for shooting accuracy at 53.3%, netting 16 goals on 30 shots during the campaign… Tied for seventh in goals per game (2.40) in league games and tenth (1.78) overall… Did not play in four of the first five games and did not score until being inserted into the starting lineup vs. Hartford in the America East opener on March 31… Inside attackman posted a hat trick vs. the Hawks as UMBC went on to a 16-12 victory… Hit the goal-scoring column in the final seven games and posted multiple-points in six of those contests… Produced a four-goal game in the 17-16 overtime victory over Albany on April 21 and his third hat trick with three scores at Binghamton a week later… Added two goals vs. the Great Danes in the league semifinal contest… Handy on the ground as well, leading UMBC’s attackmen with 14 ground balls, including a team-high five vs. Towson on April 4.
2011: Competed in nine games and started five during his first season of competition… Scored four goals and added a pair of assists… Started the season opener and scored twice and added an assist in the win at Presbyterian… Scored the 11th goal of the game, which turned out to be the game-winner… Scored single goals in the next two games vs. Rutgers and UNC… Recorded a season-best three ground balls vs. the Tar Heels… Added an assist and caused a turnover in the victory over Quinnipiac.
2010: Suffered a leg injury during the preseason and did not compete in any spring contests for the Retrievers.
Background: Earned a degree in political science and is working on a second degree in sociology…Led the Seahawks to a 4A/3A state championship in 2009, scoring five goals in the title game… Selected to the All-County First-Team in both his junior and senior seasons and was a Washington Post Second-Team All-Metro honoree after amassing 46 goals and 16 assists in 2009… Was listed among Inside Lacrosse’s top 40 incoming attackmen… Also lettered in golf and ice hockey and won a state title in ice hockey… The president of the table tennis club and a "Minds in Motion" Scholar-Athlete… Has two sisters, Meghan and Molly… Son of Jane Roach and Mike Gregoire… Born May 8, 1991.
