2011: Led UMBC with 23 goals and amassed 33 points… Recorded game-winning goals in all three of the Retrievers’ America East victories, which occurred on three consecutive Saturdays… Put 68.3 percent of his shots on goal… Scored in 12 of 13 games and had multiple points in each of the last six contests… Finished fourth in the league with 12 goals (2.40) in five contests… Opened the campaign with a four-goal, five-point effort at Presbyterian on Feb. 19… Recorded three goals at No. 6 Maryland on March 18… Scored twice, including the game’s seventh goal, in the 8-6 victory over Binghamton on April 9… Exploded for a career high and UMBC season best five goals in the 13-9 victory at Albany on April 16… Four of Jones' five goals occurred in the fourth quarter- including three consecutive scores in the final ten minutes when the game was knotted at 9-9… The game-winner occurred with 9:53 remaining… Recorded his third five-point performance of the season with three goals and two helpers vs. Vermont on April 23…Scored the game-winner off a Joe Lustgarten feed with 41 seconds left in the 9-8 triumph over the Catamounts… Notched a pair of assists in two games, including America East semifinal (1g, 2a) contest at Hartford on May 4… UMBC was 5-2 when Jones scored multiple goals.
