MEN'S LACROSSE ANNOUNCES FALL SIGNINGS

Four student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play men's lacrosse at UMBC, it was announced today by Head Coach Don Zimmerman. They are defenseman Chris Dunlap (Calvert Hall/Cockeysville,MD), attackman/midfielder Sean Stevens (Calvert Hall/Ellicott City, MD), defenseman Robert Tinsley (Ridley HS/Folsom, PA), and midfielder Corey Warner (Herkimer CC/Corning East HS/Corning, NY). Both Dunlap and Stevens come to UMBC from the outstanding program at Calvert Hall. Dunlap, a smart and talented defenseman, is a three-year starter, who participated in the Bay State All Star game and is a Top 205 All Star. Stevens, a well-rounded offensive player, joined Dunlap as a Bay State participant and Top 205 All Star. Tinsley is also a three-year starter at Ridley, a team that captured the Pennsylvania state title in 2002. Noted for his outstanding athletic ability, he earned All Delaware County honors in his sophomore and junior years and is also a Top 205 All Star. Warner was a three-year starter at Corning East HS, before attending powerful Herkimer last season. He is extremely versatile, handling face-offs, and playing on the extra-man unit. Warner has participated in New York's Empire State games.
