Men's Lacrosse Tangles With Johns Hopkins on Tuesday Evening

    The UMBC men’s lacrosse team (1-2) continues its foray through the elite teams in NCAA Division I lacrosse by taking on seventh-ranked Johns Hopkins (3-1) at Homewood Field on Tuesday, March 9. The 7:00 p.m.contest will be broadcast live by Fox 1370 Sports Radio (www.fox1370.com) with Gary Stein and Kevin O’Neill on the call and televised on a delayed basis (11:30 p.m.) by ESPNU with Joe Beninati and Mark Dixon handling the action.

    UMBC is taking on four highly-ranked opponents in a span of 15 days. After Saturday’s meeting with No. 4 UNC, the Retrievers come downtown to take on No. 7 Johns Hopkins tonight. On Saturday, March 13, UMBC travels to No. 6 Princeton and the Retrievers host the fifth-ranked Maryland Terrapins on Saturday, March 20 (WMAR-TV/ESPNU).
