The UMBC men’s lacrosse team (9-3, 3-1 America East) controls its own fate for next week’s America East Conference Tournament as the Retrievers host Vermont (4-9, 1-3) on “Senior Day” at UMBC Stadium on Saturday, April 25. Please be on hand by 12:45 p.m. as UMBC honors its class of 2009. A win would give UMBC a share of the regular season title (with the winner of the Albany-Stony Brook game) and the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Vermont can earn the No. 4 seed with a win over the Retrievers and a Hartford win at Binghamton.   The game will be televised nationally by ESPNU (Scott Garceau, Quint Kessenich) and regionally by ABC-2 and video streaming is available on www.umbcretrievers.tv.
