Men's Lacrosse Hosts Explosive Ohio State Squad on Saturday Afternoon

The UMBC men’s lacrosse team (4-2) faces Ohio State (4-2) on Saturday, March 21 at UMBC Stadium. Opening face off is set for 1:05 p.m. If you can't make it to the game, you can catch the play-by-play action (Fox 1370 AM, www.fox1370.com) on radio or see and hear it all on www.umbcretrievers.tv.

The series has been extremely competitive between the two schools, with all but one decision decided by more than three goals and four overtime games in seven meetings. UMBC holds a 5-2 advantage and has won all four games played at UMBC Stadium. Last season, UMBC trailed, 9-6, late in the third quarter, but used a 4-0 scoring run to take a 10-9 lead before the game eventually went into overtime.
