The UMBC men’s lacrosse team (3-2) faces in-state rival, No. 5 Maryland (2-0) on Saturday, March 14 at Ludwig Field. Opening face off is set for 12:06 p.m and the game will be televised live by ESPNU/WMAR-TV 2. The Retrievers will take on their third consecutive top-ten ranked team and it will also be UMBC’s second consecutive nationally-televised game. UMBC has won two straight games over the Terrapins, an NCAA Tournament game in College Park in 2007 and a triple-overtime win at UMBC Stadium last season.
