MEN'S LACROSSE TEAM TO PLAY IN TWO FALL TOURNAMENTS

The UMBC men's lacrosse team will compete in a pair of fall tournaments to prepare for the 2002 spring season. UMBC will once again compete in the Lacrosse for Leukemia Tournament at The McDonough School on Saturday, October 6. Two weeks later, on Saturday, October 20, the Retrievers will face Maryland, Towson, and Penn State in a mini-tournament held in Genesee Valley (Northern Baltimore County). The Retrievers conclude the fall with the annual alumni game as part of UMBC's Homecoming festivities on Saturday, October 27.Here are the schedules and directions for the tournaments. Saturday, October 6--Lacrosse for Leukemia Tournament10:00 a.m.-UMBC vs. Butler Field 211:00 a.m.-UMBC vs. Penn Field 312:00 p.m.-UMBC vs. Loyola Field 11:00 p.m.-UMBC vs. Hopkins Field 3Directions: Take 795 to exit 4 (Owings Mills Boulevard) going towards the Mall. Make left on Red Run Boulevard. Follow Red Run Blvd. to the end crossing over Painters Mills Road. This will lead you to Owings Mills Corporate Campus where you will be directed to parking and the fields.
