The fifth-ranked UMBC men’s lacrosse team (9-3, 4-0 America East) concludes the regular season with a contest at league foe Vermont on Saturday, April 26 (1:00 p.m.). The Retrievers clinched at least a share of the America East regular title and the right to host the conference tournament (May 1 and 3) by virtue of Saturday’s 16-5 triumph over Hartford. The Catamounts (5-10, 1-3) are coming off a 9-6 win at Holy Cross on Tuesday. Vermont needs a Hartford win over Binghamton to have a chance to claim the No. 4 slot in next week’s America East Tournament.
