UMBC Midfielder Terry Kimener Named America East Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

Cambridge, Mass.--UMBC senior midfielder Terry Kimener (Oakton, Va./Oakton) was named America East Conference men’s lacrosse player of the week for games ending March 9, 2008.

 

Kimener set career highs with five goals and seven points in UMBC’s 11-9 win over Yale on Saturday. He became the 24th player in school history to surpass the 100-point plateau with 53 goals and 51 assists. Kimener added a goal and an assist in the 10-8 loss to No. 1-ranked Johns Hopkins on March 4 and leads UMBC with 18 points (8 goals, 10 assists) on the season.

 

The Retrievers host Maryland at UMBC Stadium on Friday evening. The game will be televised live by MASN.
