This will be UMBC’s fourth appearance in the field since 1998. The Retrievers earned at-large bids in both 1998 and 1999 and earned an automatic qualifier by winning the America East Conference in 2006. All four appearances by UMBC have come under the direction of Head Coach Don Zimmerman.
