MEN'S LACROSSE TO TANGLE WITH DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPION JOHNS HOPKINS ON TUESDAY EVENING AT HOMEWOOD FIELD

The UMBC men's lacrosse team (2-0) will put its 2-0 record on the line as the Retrievers face off against the 2005 national champion Johns Hopkins Blue Jays (1-1) on Tuesday, March 7. The opening face-off takes place at Homewood Field at 6:30 p.m. and WLG (1370 AM) and umbcretrievers.com will have the action beginning at 6:25 p.m. UMBC moved into the national rankings this week, landing at #17 in the STX Coaches' poll. Johns Hopkins fell into a tie for seventh in that poll after a narrow loss to Princeton on Saturday.
