UMBC takes on Ohio State for the third consecutive year at the third different venue when the two teams collide at Johns Hopkins’ Homewood Field this Saturday at 1pm. UMBC opened its home schedule last year with an 8-7 double overtime win over the Buckeyes, after OSU ended UMBC’s playoff hopes in the 2003 finale with a 12-9 win in Columbus, Ohio. Today’s game is the first of WMAR-TV package of live lacrosse games. The game will also be shown on the first weekend of programming on ESPNU, and will air delayed at 1pm on Sunday. For all fans, tickets will be sold from the University Parkway (Schelle Pavilion) ticket gate at Homewood Field on Saturday.
