Accolades: Named to the Winter-Spring 2011 America East Conference Honor Roll... Named America East Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week for games ending April 1, 2012.  

2012: Led America East and finished tied for fourth in the nation with 2.33 assists per game...Became the 21st player in school history to record 25 or more assists in a season… His 29 assists were the most since Drew Westervelt recorded 36 in 2007… Finished the season with multiple assists in nine consecutive games, the longest streak since Steve Marohl, the NCAA record-setter with 77 assists,  had multiple helpers in 12 straight games in 1992… Placed ninth in America East with 2.85 points per game… Hit the scoring column in 12 of 13 games… Scored a pair of goals in the opener vs. Robert Morris… Contributed three assists vs. Johns Hopkins on March 10… Produced a team season-best eight-point game (5g, 3a) in the conference-opening victory vs. Hartford on March 31… Scored his five goals on six shots and has eight goals vs. the Hawks in his last two contests… Four nights later, he contributed four assists at Towson… Finished the regular season with a trio of three-point games vs. Stony Brook, Albany, and Binghamton… Led UMBC with five points (1g, 4a) in the America East semifinal setback to the Great Danes… Has nine assists in four career appearances vs. Albany.

2011: Started eight games and saw action in all 13 in his second season in the black and gold… Scored five goals and added eight assists… Scored his first collegiate goal in a two-point effort (1g, 1a) vs. Johns Hopkins on March 12… Earned his first start at Maryland on March 18 and started in eight of the last nine contests… Contributed two assists apiece in victories over Binghamton and Albany… Assisted on Scott Jones’ game-winning goal with 41 seconds remaining as UMBC nipped Vermont, 9-8, on April 23… Recorded career bests in goals (3) and points (4) in the America East semifinals at Hartford on May 4.

2010: Competed in six games during his first season for the Retrievers… Recorded his first collegiate points in a multi-point effort at Towson on April 7… Notched two assists, both on UMBC man-up goals vs. the Tigers.

Background: Majoring in sociology with a minor in American studies... Scored 105 goals and added 149 assists for his career, including a senior campaign which featured 33 goals and 43 helpers… Earned All-America honors in 2009… A three-time All-Suffolk County selection and a three-time All-Division honoree… As a sophomore, he scored a career-best 38 goals and 100 points and led the Wildcats to a state championship… Also lettered in football and wrestling… Has one sister, Lauren…Son of Adam and Dina Lustgarten… Born Oct. 24, 1991.
