2012: Underwent shoulder surgery in the fall and did not compete in fall or spring competition.2011: Finished second on the team in face-off wins (50) and ground balls (28)… Won 50 of 99 (50.5%) for the season and 22 of 39 (56.4%) in America East play… Opened the season with a dominant performance, controlling a team season high 13 draws (13-3) at Presbyterian on Feb. 19… Nearly battled No. 6 Maryland to a stalemate, winning 7-of-15 face-offs on March 18… Won five of seven in the victory at Albany on April 16 and took 12 of 17 in the 9-8 victory over Vermont a week later… Corralled season bests in ground balls with six each vs. Presbyterian and Vermont.

Won the Calvert Hall Ground Ball Award in 2007, 2008 and 2009, recording 305 ground balls in that span… Captured 471 face-offs and maintained a 73 percent face-off winning rate from 2007-09… His father, Joseph J.
