2012: Competed at both close defense and as a long-stick defensive midfielder in his first spring in competition… Started six games early in the season on the backline before moving up top down the stretch… Finished sixth on the squad with 19 ground balls and caused five turnovers on the campaign… Caused a pair of miscues and recorded an assist vs. Fairfield… Posted season-highs with three ground balls each in games vs. Loyola and Vermont.

2011: Did not compete in the spring due to injury.

Background: The first Retriever lacrosse player from the state of Arizona… Majoring in sociology... Helped the Firebirds to a state title in 2009… A two-time First-Team All-State defender who captained Chaparral in his final three seasons… Named to Lax Power’s All-Western Team in both 2009 and 2010… Considered other Division I schools, but selected UMBC because of "the coaching staff and all the guys on the team, plus the chance to do well in the NCAA Tournament"… Lists favorite professional team as the MLL’s Denver Outlaws and favorite book as Gods and Generals…Is the second-youngest of six siblings… Son of Katherine and Charles Gray… Born Feb. 23, 1992.
