Accolades: Named to America East All-Rookie Team in 2011.

2012: Tied for second on the squad with 16 goals… Also second in shots (64) and man-up goals (5)… Got off to a brilliant start, scoring twice in the opener vs. Robert Morris, then scoring a personal-best five times at Rutgers on Feb. 26… It was one of three five-goal games for the Retrievers in 2012… Also scored two goals in games vs. Maryland (March 6), Albany (April 21) and Albany (May 3)… Produced his second career two-assist effort vs. Hartford on March 31.

2011: Competed in all 13 games and earned six starts at midfield… Tied for team lead with three extra-man goals… Scored his first collegiate point, an assist vs. Rutgers on Feb. 26 and followed up with two goals at North Carolina on March 5… Posted a season-high three-point effort (1g, 2a) at Stony Brook on April 1… Added two goals, including the eighth score of the game in UMBC’s 8-6 victory over Binghamton on April 9.

Background: Majoring in sociology... Earned four varsity letters in both lacrosse and football, where he was an All-MIAA quarterback for the Crusaders… Part of the MIAA "A" Conference champions from 2010… Sister Meagan completed a four-year tenure for UMBC’s women’s lacrosse team in 2011… Has a younger brother, Ben, who is 17… Son of Susan and Mike Linkous… Born July 7, 1991.
