Accolades: Voted UMBC Athlete of the Month in March 2011… Selected as the team’s Most Valuable Athlete.

2011: Started the opener and recorded the win vs. Presbyterian… Faced 48 shots at UNC and came up with a career-best 14 saves… Suffered a broken hand during that contest, but completed the game… Did not play in the next two games, but returned on March 26 and made 13 saves in a come-from-behind 9-7 victory over Quinnipiac… Started the remaining seven games on the schedule… Posted 11 saves each in victories over Towson and Vermont… In the nets for all six UMBC victories.

2010: Competed in two games, earning his first two collegiate starts at Johns Hopkins on March 9 and at Princeton on March 13… Went the distance vs. the Blue Jays and recorded eight saves.2009: Made his lone appearance of the campaign on April 25 vs. Vermont… Faced three shots, made a pair of saves and did not allow a goal in nearly four minutes of work… Wore No. 33 as a freshman.

Background: Majoring in business technology administration... Earned the Tom Nolan award as the best goalkeeper in Nassau County in his junior and senior seasons… Captained the Trojans and earned the Bernard Moline Award as team most valuable player in his senior season… Named to the all-county team in both 2007 and 2008, when he compiled a combined save percentage of .700… Helped Garden City to three straight Nassau County titles… Overcame a torn ACL entering his freshman year in high school… Born Nov. 25, 1989.
