Background: Considering a major in mechanical engineering… Outstanding all-around athlete who lettered in five different sports at Kent Island… In lacrosse, he competed in the 2007 Maryland state all-star game… Earned the Bayside student-athlete award in ’07 and captained the lacrosse squad as a junior and a senior… Scored four goals and added four assists in a game vs. Stephen Decatur and  helped the Buccaneers to the state semifinals last year… Earned Second Team Bayside Conference honors in football… Also competed in soccer, track & field and basketball during his tenure at Kent Island… A member of the National Honor Society, Student Government Association and Mentor Advisory Program…  A fan of the movie Gladiator… Has a younger sister, Bryana, who is 11… Son of Joy and Dan Shields… Born May 28, 1989.
