2009: Earned the assignment as UMBC’s primary face-off specialist in the fifth game of the campaign at Maryland on March 14… Stalemated the Terrapins, winning 10 of 20 draws in UMBC’s 9-7 victory… Won 14 of 21 draws vs. Binghamton on April 4, then captured a season-high 16 (of 24) in the victory at Albany on April 11… Recorded his first collegiate point, an assist, vs. the Great Danes and earned the league’s Rookie of the Week honor by virtue of his performance… Collected a season-high 11 ground balls and won 14 of 22 draws in UMBC’s narrow America East semifinal win over Binghamton on April 29… Won 76 of 147 draws (51.7 percent) vs. America East Conference foes… UMBC was 6-0 when he captured 10 or more face-offs in a game… Led the squad with 62 ground balls on the season… Wore No. 35 as a freshman.
