2009:  Appeared in three contests, all against America East Conference foes… Debuted in a Retriever uniform vs. Binghamton on April 4… Also saw action at Hartford and vs. Vermont.

 

2008: Did not compete due to injury.

 

2007: Began to matriculate in UMBC in the fall of 2006, but did not compete in the spring season due to injury.
 
Background: Majoring in American studies... Named the Player of the Year at The Phelps School, as he produced 69 goals and 26 assists … Scored eight goals and added two assists against the Woodlyne School to propel the Lions into the playoffs… Earned the Lions’ Pride award, the highest award given at the school, for grades and leadership ability… Previously attended Wilde Lake High School, where he earned First-Team All-Howard County honors in 2004… Scored 44 goals and added 12 assists that season… Competed in the North-South Senior Showcase in St. Louis in 2005... Cousins Kierra and Tierra Gregory competed in track and field at UMBC… Has a younger brother, Nile, who is 17… Son of Dr. James Bembry, a professor of social work at UMBC… Born Nov. 12, 1986.
