Background:  The starting netminder for the top-ranked team in the nation last season, as he allowed only 5.52 goals per game and maintained a 60 percent save percentage… Started every game as the Greyhounds posted an 18-1 record… Received the coaches’ award, which is presented to the senior who demonstrates the most leadership, effort and enthusiasm… Lists best effort as an 18-save performance vs. Calvert Hall in a 10-7 Gilman victory… Earned three letters in football and two letters as a netminder in ice hockey… His father, Brian, was a three-time All American goalie at Johns Hopkins in 1981-83 and his mother,  Laurie, played lacrosse at Towson… Younger brother Marcus earned first-team All-Metro honors in lacrosse at Gilman last spring… Also has a younger sister, Sydney… Chose UMBC “because I believe it provides me with the best opportunity to compete for a national championship”… Lists favorite book as The Da Vinci Code  Considering a future career as a financial advisor… Born March 1, 1989.
