2008: Competed in seven games and attempted 15 draws… Featured as WMAR/ESPNU’s Scholar Athlete during halftime of the March 1 game vs. Denver… Collected his first two career ground balls.

 

2007: Competed in four games... Remained an integral part of UMBC's face-off contingent.

 

2006: Saw action in five gamss… Scored his first collegiate goal in the win over Hartford.

 

Background: Majoing in visual arts and a career in computer animation… Face-off specialist who excelled for two-time state championship team at Centennial… Corralled 97 ground balls, while winning 61 percent of his draws as a senior…also scored a career-best seven goals and added five assists… Tallied a pair of goals, added an assist and won seven of eight draws in a 20-5 win over Wilde Lake… Amassed 72 ground balls and won 60 percent of his draws in 2004… Also played varsity football as a junior… A member of the National Honor Society… Selected UMBC for that reason… Cousin, Andy Murray, was a standout player and won national titles at Salisbury University… Son of Joann and Jim Curtin… Born June 11, 1987.
