2008: Saw action in three contests in his initial season and tallied a pair of goals on three shots attempted… Hit the nets in the season opener vs. Delaware in Jacksonsville, Fla., and also scored in a league contest vs. Hartford.

 

Background: Californian who brings an inspirational story to UMBC… Suffered a ruptured spleen as a sophomore at Palos Verdes, yet returned to the field… The school instituted the David Scott Inspirational award, which he was awarded upon his return… In 2007, he was the team’s leading scorer and was named the team’s offensive MVP… Led the Sea Kings to the state finals in his junior and senior seasons… Scored three goals and dished out two assists in the title game played before 3,000 fans at the Home Depot Center… Also lettered in football… Attended UMBC “because of its lacrosse program, hall of fame lacrosse coach and I felt right at home my first visit”… Would like to enter the field of real estate… Raced go-karts and cars until age 16… Also enjoys the Harry Potter series… son of Christine and Greg Scott and has a sister, Amie, who is 21… Born May 12, 1989.
