2007: Competed in one contest upon his return to the playing field.
2006: Suffered a torn ACL in the fall of 2005 and did not compete.
Background: Named to 2005 US Lacrosse Boys All America squad… Earned First Team All (Baltimore) County honors and All Division honors in both his junior and senior seasons… Lists his best performance in a game as a four-goal, two-assist effort against McDonough… Earned varsity letters in all four years at Catonsville and was a freshman on the state semi-final squad…Also lettered in football for the Comets, earning Second Team All County honors and rushing for 1,050 yards as a junior… Named to school’s honor roll in six of his last eight quarters of high school… Has come back from two surgeries on his left knee… Selected UMBC over other Division I offers because “of the amount of attention [UMBC] paid to me during the recruiting process”… Has three siblings, Ron, Jr., 22, Tianna, 15, and Dominic, 14… Son of Glenda and Ron Gurnsey… Born March 14, 1987.
