2006: Able to regain his senior year of eligibility due to an exemption for military service… competed in six games last season and saw some action as a face-off specialist… scored his first UMBC goal in the win over Hartford… took 12 of his 17 face-offs in that game vs. the Hawks and won six of 12.

 

Background: A mid-season transfer to UMBC from CCBC-Catsonville…earned First Team All America honors last year for the Cardinals…served in the United States Navy for four years prior to attending CCBC-Catsonville…came to UMBC “to finish my degree which I started before I joined the Navy”…joins his younger brother Terry on the team, becoming the 24th brother combination to play at UMBC…will not be the oldest player to compete at UMBC—Bill Bloom was 27 years old in his senior season of 1997…posted eight goals in a game vs. Montgomery (Md.) College last year…also lettered in football and wrestling while at Oakton (Va.)
