Background: Just one of four student-athletes to earn 12 letters while at Fallston…competed for four years in lacrosse, volleyball, and swimming…helped the Cougars earn a regional title (lacrosse) in his sophomore season and make it back to the title game last year…earned a county title in volleyball in 2004 and in swimming in 2002 and 2004…a long stick midfield and face off candidate for the Retrievers…chose UMBC “because of its location and to have the chance to play Division I lacrosse”…an honor roll student throughout high school and achieved “Minds In Motion” every season…an accomplished musician who is proficient on piano, trumpet, and percussion…considering a major in Education and would like to teach Earth and Space Sciences…has brothers Andrew, 20, and Kevin, 14…son of Christine and Michael Carlson…born January 11, 1986.
