Background: Tremendous all-around athlete who made All Colorado teams in lacrosse, ice hockey, and soccer…a member of Team Colorado (lacrosse) for four years and a three-year captain…earned All Tournament Team honors at the Royal Palms Tournament and was the Mustangs’ team MVP in his junior and senior year…lists his best single game as a 7-goal, 4-assist effort vs. Columbine to get Colorado Academy into the playoffs…was an All State and All Conference honoree in both ice hockey and soccer and led the Mustangs in scoring on the pitch…father, William, played lacrosse at Wesleyan, and older siblings Matt (Choate, Wesleyan) and Libby (Bowdoin) also competed intercollegiately…selected UMBC “due to the guys on the team and the location of the school”…undecided about his major…son of Lorna and William Bourke…born July 3, 1985.
