2004: Recorded 48 points, the most productive season by a Retriever since Dan Marohl tallied 52 in 2000...his 33 goals were the most since Casey Hard also scored 33 in 1999...finished second in the America East Conference in both goals and points...was 15th in the nation in those same categories...has now scored at least one goal in 15 straight games and tallied at least two points in his last 12 contests...tied for the team lead with 5 extra-man goals and led squad with a pair of game-winning goals (Quinnpiac, Loyola)...scored 4 goals vs. Delaware, and 3 each vs. Hartford, Quinnipiac, Vermont, and Albany (playoff game)...on April 21 vs. Loyola, he set career bests in goals (7) and points (9), contributing 4 goals and 1 assist as UMBC broke the game open in the fourth quarter...the 7 goals were the most for a Retriever since Chris Turner netted 7 vs. Towson on April 25, 1999 and the 9 points is UMBC’s top effort since Dan Marohl produced 9 (4-5-9) vs. Radford on April 22, 2000...the 7 goals ties for the fifth most in a game by a Retriever.
2003: Produced the fourth most productive freshman season in UMBC's Division lacrosse history…his 33 points were the most for a UMBC first-year player since Dan Marohl had 53 in 1997…hit the scoreboard in his first eight collegiate games before being blanked vs. North Carolina…shot a very efficient 44.0% (22 goals on 50 shots)…recorded his first four-goal game in a 14-7 win over Dartmouth…was credited with the game-winning goal in that contest…came back with a three-goal, two-assist effort in a 12-10 win over Penn State…assisted Josh Gerber for the fourth quarter go-ahead goal in that game, then tallied an insurance marker…tallied another hat trick the following week at Rutgers…scored three of his four goals at Navy in the final 20 minutes…the final two goals cut the UMBC deficit to a single goal, but the rally fell short despite his six-point effort.
BACKGROUND: Earned All City-County honors from The Baltimore Sun during his senior season... also lettered in football for the Gaels...chose UMBC for its "closeness to home"...uncle, Matthew, was an All American lacrosse player at Mt. St. Mary's...has two younger siblings, Barron, 10, and Mary Blair, 9...a fan of the movie Top Gun, and the Baltimore Ravens...son of Lucinda Mundorf...born July 27, 1984.
