Served as an understudy to face-off specialist Pat Muston last season and will battle for the primary role in 2004...changed from jersey #17 last year to #5 this season. 

 

2004: Participated in three games, and won his first draw (1/3) vs. Hartford...also saw action at North Carolina and at Vermont at the face-off “X”.

 

BACKGROUND: A dominant player in the growing lacrosse landscape in North Carolina…earned Most Valuable Player honors in his final three years for the Cougars and earned All City and All State honors…in his senior year, he produced a ten-point (6g, 4a) game and a 20-for-20 face-off single game mark…also lettered in football and swimming…captured a swimming state championship…picked up the game of lacrosse at age 13…a fan of the NFL's Carolina Panthers…father, Michael, Sr., played football at Wake Forest University…son of Ann and Michael Ganzert…born February 15, 1984.
