AT UMBC: After limited action in the circle as a freshman, he served as UMBC’s primary face-off specialist last season...won 54 of 116 draws...was a major factor in UMBC’s win over Penn State, winning nine of 14 draws, collecting a career best nine ground balls and scoring a career-high four points (3-1-4)...scored the eighth and set up the ninth goal of the game as UMBC held on for a 9-8 victory...captured seven of 11 draws in the next game, a 10-6 win over Rutgers...also recorded 7 shots in that game, but failed to score...scored his other goal of the campaign in the finale vs. Maryland...made a huge impression in his freshman campaign...was tied for fourth on the team in scoring with 11 points (9 goals, 2 assists), despite being used predominantly as a defensive middie...opened his career in style, picking up a loose ball, beating several opponents down the field and feeding Josh Hahn for the game-winning overtime goal in the opener vs. Navy...had an earlier assist in the game, and then followed up with a three-goal game vs. Mt. St. Mary’s...made a local television audience take notice as he took over the Cornell game with the go-ahead and insurance goals late in the third quarter in a 6-5 UMBC win...scored a single goal in each of the next four games, before he focused solely on the defensive middie role and was held off the board the rest of the way...six of his 12 career goals have occured with WMAR-TV televising the game.
