Career Highs: Goals: 3 vs. Penn State, 3-23-02; Points: 4 (3-1-4) vs. Penn State, 3-23-02. Face-Offs Won: 22 vs. Rutgers, 3-29-03; Ground Balls: 10, 2x, latest at Ohio State, 4-30-03.

Became a “workhorse” on face-offs, taking 291 of 316 draws last season…his 158 face-offs won were the third top figure in school history for a single season…placed 12th in the nation in ground balls with 6.15 per game and his 80 ground balls were the most since Nick Brownlee snared 109 in 1997…has the ability to push the offense after winning the draw…has competed in all 37 games in 3 seasons.

AT UMBC:  As a junior, he was installed as UMBC’s face-off specialist…started slowly, but had a brilliant four-game stretch where he won 65 of 95 draws vs. Dartmouth, Penn State, Rutgers, and U. Mass…tied a UMBC single game record with 22 face-off wins (of 27) at Rutgers…took 16 of 23 vs. the Minutemen…won 12 of 20 draws vs. North Carolina and 15 of 22 at Delaware…hit the nets in each of the last three games, including a two-goal effort in the finale at Ohio State…produced a pair of double-digit ground ball efforts, with 10 each vs. U. Mass and Ohio State…took the majority of UMBC’s draws in his sophomore campaign…won 54 of 116 draws...was a major factor in UMBC’s win over Penn State, winning 9 of 14 draws, collecting a career best nine ground balls and scoring a career-high four points (3-1-4)...scored the eighth and set up the ninth goal of the game as UMBC held on for a 9-8 victory...captured seven of 11 draws in the next game, a 10-6 win over Rutgers...also recorded 7 shots in that game, but failed to score...scored his other goal of the campaign in the finale vs. Maryland...made a huge impression in his freshman campaign...was tied for fourth on the team in scoring with 11 points (9 goals, 2 assists), despite being used predominantly as a defensive middie...opened his career in style, picking up a loose ball, beating several opponents down the field and feeding Josh Hahn for the game-winning overtime goal in the opener vs. Navy...had an earlier assist in the game, and then followed up with a three-goal game vs. Mt. St. Mary’s...made a local television audience take notice as he took over the Cornell game with the go-ahead and insurance  goals late in the third quarter in a 6-5 UMBC win...scored a single goal in each of the next four games, before he focused solely on the defensive middie role and was held off the board the rest of the way...7 of his 18 career goals have occurred with WMAR-TV televising the game.
