Another senior with a great deal of playing experience...one of the team’s finest athletes and hardest workers who will challenge for playing time as a defensive midfielder…must translate great practice habits into game day production.

 

AT UMBC:  Saw action in eight games in his junior season…was the first “short-stick” reserve on the defensive midfield unit, behind Josh Dodson and Luke Reilly…competed in all 12 games during his sophomore campaign…scored his first collegiate goal off a fast break vs. Georgetown...garnered six ground balls for the season...played in six of twelve games in his freshman campaign...saw time on the defensive midfield unit...recorded four ground balls...played in five of UMBC’s final six games of the season.

 

BACKGROUND: The 1999-2000 Athlete of the Year at Mt. Hebron...earned Second Team All County honors in both lacrosse and football as a senior...also lettered in track and field and broke three school records in the 4 x 400m, 4 x 200m and 500 meters...was part of a state championship team as a junior at Mt. Hebron...an admirer of the late Walter Payton “because he always worked to his highest potential”...brother, Mike, 25, played club lacrosse at Elon (NC) College...son of Rose Marry and Terry Tittsworth...born April 10. 1982.
